Ruby Lee Waldroup Chandler, 82, of Marshall passed away Monday, April 8, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Elmer Waldroup and Zilfie Thomas Landers. In addition to her parents, Ruby is preceded in death by a son, Jackie Lee Chandler; sister, Minnie Pearl Buckner; brother, Dewey Waldroup; and grandchildren, Angie, Leon and Trevor.

Mrs. Chandler is survived by her husband, Jackie Chandler; daughters, Teresa Ray (Charlie) and Tammy Chandler (Darrell); son, Rusty Clontz (Robin); sister, Mary Ann Miller; brother, Ronnie Waldroup; grandchildren, Brandy, Misty, Jeremy, Deion, Amy, Jackson, Megan; great grandchildren, Breanna, Kayden, Jacklyn and Cheyenne; Aunt, Ethel Waldroup and special nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, April 11, 2019 at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Kellen Griffin will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Scott Chandler cemetery.
