Ruby Arrington Willis, 88, of Mars Hill, passed away on February 3, 2025. She was born January 14, 1937 in Madison County and was the daughter of the late Cleophus and Dallie Willis Arrington.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd James Willis, and sisters, Myrtle Metcalf and Rita Smith.

Ruby was a member of Peeks Chapel Baptist Church.

Ruby is survived by her son, Larry Willis (Louise); and brother, Earl Arrington; several nieces; and several great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, February 7, 2025 in Mars Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Mark Crowder and Rev. Vince Keith will officiate.

The family would like to thank the staff at Elderberry Healthcare for the loving care they gave Mrs. Willis.
