Staff Sargent Ryan Patrick Quinlivan, 35, of Havelock, NC passed away on February 3, 2023, at his home. Ryan was a US Marine serving 14 years and is the son of Thomas Quinlivan, Jr. and Joann DiIorio Quinlivan of Mars Hill, NC.

Ryan is survived by his parents, two sons: Bryson and Aiden Quinlivan, one sister: Christina Ullman and her husband Anthony, one brother: Joseph Quinlivan, the mother of his children: Amanda Norton Quinlivan, two nieces: Adalyn and Peyton, his girlfriend: Chel Mott and a host of Marine Brothers and Sisters.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 12:00pm at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain, NC where full military honors will be rendered. The Quinlivan family will receive friends from 4:00pm until 6:00pm on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Blue Ridge Funeral Service in Mars Hill, NC.
