Sandra Banks, 71, passed away on January 12, 2025. Born on April 6, 1953, she was the daughter of Blanche Bridges Sherman and the late Hugo Sherman.

She is survived by her daughters; Michelle Lutes and Tammy Griffin (Chad), her brothers; Tommy, Terry, Jeffrey and Billy Joe Sherman, her grandchildren; Justin Crain (Morgan), Mitch Griffin (Summer), Austin and Katlyn Wiliams, and great-grandchildren; Laynie and Emerie Crain, Titus and Lindee Griffin, along with several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, January 17, 2025 in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 pm prior to the services at the funeral home.
