Sandra Landers Tolley, 72, of Marshall, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Glenn and Pearl Gahagan Landers. Sandra retired from Madison County Schools after 34 years of employment. She was a former chairman of Madison County School Board, a member of Madison County Board of Commissioners, and served on several boards in Madison County after her retirement.

Sandra is survived by her loving husband Charles Tolley, daughters; Caroline Davis (Joe), Elizabeth Ayers (Chad); sister, Glenda Rodgers; grandchildren; Emmajo Elizabeth Davis, Sarah Isabella Davis, Catherine Leigh Ayers and Charlotte Glenn Ayers.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm Thursday, December 8, 2022, in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service with Reverend Pat Hardy officiating. The family will receive friends 2:30 -4:00pm, prior to the service. A private burial will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Madison County Public Library, 1335 N. Main St., Marshall, NC 28753.
