Sharon Elizabeth Henderson Franklin, 65, of Weaverville, a loving wife, mother and friend, left this life for a better place, Wednesday, February 24, 2021. She is the daughter of the late Fred and Mary Elizabeth Gahagan Henderson and a native of Greene County, TN, having lived most of her life in Buncombe County.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 41 years, Lewis Franklin; her daughter, Hailey Elizabeth Franklin and husband Michael; brother, Freddie Henderson and wife Velma; and nephew, Michael Henderson.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Raymond Cantrell will officiate. Burial will follow at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
