Sheila Shinn Hughes went home to be with her Lord on November 12, 2024. She was born November 9, 1948.

Sheila is survived by her son, Chris Hughes; mother, Arcille Shinn; two granddaughters, Willow Hughes (Will Lockridge) and Ember Hughes.

Sheila is preceded in death by her husband, Willard Hughes; father, Milton Shinn; brother, Greg Shinn; and a granddaughter, Aurora Crystal Hughes.

Shelia was a member of East Commerce Baptist Church, Lewisburg, Tennessee, where she taught children and participated in the prison ministry. She loved people, cats and dogs. Sheila was a supportive, sacrificial partner for her husband and family. She and her friends were followers of several, well known, Christian music groups. She particularly enjoyed being an extra in the Mercy Me movie.

A celebration of Sheila's life will be held at a later date.
