Shelia Ann Boone, passed away on March 18, 2025, after a 24-year struggle with Parkinson's Disease. Shelia was born in Buncombe County on March 25, 1956.

A lifelong resident of Madison County, Shelia was employed by Honeywell until the Mars Hill division closed. Shortly thereafter, she became employed by Madison County. After several years, due to her constant tremors, she retired from that position. She missed her fellow employees and seeing the residents of Madison County. Shelia was a member of Grapevine Baptist Church. Her strong faith in God's promises gave her hope and purpose in life.

Shelia is preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Betty Boone; an infant daughter, Tiffany LeAnn Coates; and sister-in-law, Lisa Nelson Boone.

Shelia is survived by her brother, Michael Boone and her sister, Peggy Fender (Allen); her niece, Allison Fender; her nephews, Ethan Boone and Jackson Boone; an aunt, Juanita Boone; and several cousins.

Special appreciation to Dr. James Patton and the staff of Asheville Neurology for the tireless care and treatment given to Shelia for years.

Upon Shelia's request, a private family service will be held with Rev. Danny Jenkins officiating.
