Sherry Sturgill Luther Downs, 71, of Leicester, passed away on August 29, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Kathleen Sturgill, and a sister, Carolyn Bryant.

She is survived by two sons, Scott (Michele) Luther, Ryan (Karen) Luther; four grandchildren, Courtney, Dillon, Kaylee, and Cody; brothers, Rodney (Paula) Sturgill, Sam Sturgill, Danny (Diane) Sturgill, and JC (Cindy) Sturgill; one sister, Pat Hollifield (Lewis); a special niece, Debbie Sprouse (Jim Owenby); and several other nieces and nephews.

The family will have visitation from 3:00 – 5:00 on Saturday September 2, 2023 at Blue Ridge Funeral Service.
