Obituary

Shirley "Annette" Shelton Ducker, 73, of Marshall, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Fred Enloe and Gladys Fender Shelton. Annette was a member of Grapevine Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandchildren, Dustin and Devin Ducker; step-son, Tony Mace; daughter-in-law, Lisa Annette Ducker and brother, Elmer Shelton.

Annette is survived by sons, Michael, James, and Shawn Ducker; step-sons, Keith and Shawnie Mace; sisters, Ethel Goforth (Fred), Felicia Phillips and Freda Roberts (Randy); brothers, Mack A. Shelton and Chris Shelton (Denise); grandchildren, Amber Roberts, Wade Ducker, Alyssa Ducker and Jase Harwood; great grandchildren, Dillon Ducker, Kayleigh Rice, Cash and Creed Roberts, and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm Monday, May 5, 2025, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service with Reverend Danny Jenkins officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A private graveside service will be held at Thomas Branch Cemetery at a later date.

At other times, the family will be at the home of Chris and Denise Shelton, 143 S. Ammons Branch Rd, Marshall, NC 28753.
