Shirley Ann Peek, age 77, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Wiley W. and Zarilda Ammons Peek. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kimley Lynn Phillips and brother, Douglas Peek.

She is survived by a granddaughter, Tiffany L. Cassidy; nephew, Timothy L. Peek and wife Karen; great grandchildren, William M. Cassidy, Sarrah Lewis, Kaden Lewis and sister-in-law Virginia Peek .

Shirley retired from Mission Hospital and worked at Asheville Eye Associates and was a member of Peeks Chapel Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm Saturday, November 11, 2017 in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm with Rev. Stanley Peek officiating. Burial will follow at Mars Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
