Skyler Keith Smoke Shelton, of Fletcher and Shelton Laurel earned his angel wings after 13 years of life, surrounded by his family on Monday, June 21, 2021. Skyler was born on November 9, 2007.

He was survived by his mother Angela Smoke and father Keith Shelton (Carla Allen); loving brothers, Tristin Shelton, Isaac Gosnell and Austin Gosnell (Tina); maternal grandparents, "Grandpa" Jim and "Grandma" Emily Smoke and paternal grandmother, Linda Sue "Nana" Cantrell, "Papaw" Charles and "Mamaw" Kate; aunts, Pam Shelton, and Terri Davis (Todd); uncles, James Smoke (Alison) and Kenneth Shelton (Becky) many loving cousins and special friends.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Memorial Mission Pediatrics staff for their loving care for their son during his battle with Acute Myloid Leukemia.

A funeral service will be held 12:30PM Friday, June 25, 2021, at Carmen Church of God with Rev. Sam Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Cantrell Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 24, from 5:00 – 7:00PM at Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Casual dress preferred by family.
