Obituary

Beloved Tacoma Michael Reda, born September 19, 2003, and raised in Clarksville, TN and Marshall, NC returned to union with his Creator on February 18, 2026. He is the son of Adam Michael Reda and Stephanie Hawley, and stepson of Jennifer Hord Reda. He graduated from Madison High School in 2022 and then entered the workforce, learning the trades of landscaping and concrete.

He loved sports, especially soccer, wrestling, baseball, snowboarding and skateboarding. He struck out on his own and moved to Wilmington, NC to be near the ocean and explore his passion for automobiles, applying that in the field of auto sales where he excelled.

He was known for his hand-shaking, look-you-in-the-eye confidence and charisma. He could be playful and silly, mischievous in the most delightful ways, while also introspective and considerate. He was funny and had a compassionate, tender heart. He was a loyal friend and loved his family.

He was a great dancer, gamer, and entertainer. He loved billiards, fishing, his Green Bay Packers, and was a spirited member of summer camp communities at Camp Henry, Glory Ridge, and Nantahala Outdoor Center.

To know Tacoma was to know laughter. He lit up a room with his smile and made a huge impression and impact on everyone he met.

He is survived by his father, Adam Reda, his stepmother, Jennifer Hord Reda, his mother, Stephanie Hawley, and his younger brother, Zackarie, two great grandmothers, Brunhilde Reda and Virginia Wooton, paternal grandparents, Mike Reda (Michelle) and Lori Wooton (Tom Field), maternal grandmother, Mari Hawley, three great uncles, Stevie Reda (Elizabeth), Ricky Reda (Beverly), and James Wooton, one great aunt, Leslee Wooton. His large family also includes two uncles and an aunt with whom he grew up in Tennessee, loving like brothers and sisters, Dalton Reda (Justine), Jonathan Reda (Amber), and Allie Reda Page (Wyatt). Many cousins were beloved companions as well, Kaycee Reda (Ben Drudy), Vanessa Hawley, Desiree Hawley DeRolf, Allison and Mason Wooton. He adored the children of his uncles and aunts, Aria & Eliza Reda, Waylon & Charlee May Reda, Jett & Bennett Page, and Kennedy Reda.

Through blended family, Tacoma gained an additional set of grandparents in Lynda and Dick Hord, two uncles, Steed Hord (Rebecca) and David Hord (Amy), and four cousins, Tucker Hord, Bridget Hord, Elias Hord, and Levi Hord.

Tacoma is preceded in death by two great grandfathers, Mike Reda, Sr. and Windel Wooton, maternal grandfather, Jim Hawley, and cousin, Valerie Hawley.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1pm Saturday, March 7th at Blue Ridge Funeral & Cremation Service in Mars Hill, NC with visitation starting at 11am.

The family will host separate services in Clarksville, TN on Saturday, March 14th and in Spring Hill, FL on Monday, March 16th respectively. Further details will be communicated for these services through Tacoma's Memorial Facebook Page.
