Tamie Ramsey Doyle, 64, of Seneca, South Carolina, peacefully went to be with the Lord on June 15, 2026.
Born in Weaverville, North Carolina, Tamie was raised by her parents, Elizabeth Ramsey and the late George Ramsey. She spent much of her life in Greenville, South Carolina, working at Custom Images, before retiring to Lake Keowee in 2014.
Tamie is survived by her loving husband, Roger Doyle. For 24 wonderful years, Tamie and Roger shared a marriage filled with friendship, laughter, and countless cherished memories.
She is also survived by her children, Beth Ramsey and Nick Atkinson; her stepchildren, Phillip Doyle (Jennifer) and Bradley Doyle (Evelyn); her grandchildren, Marshall, Micah, Mariah, and Jameson; her sisters, Sherrie Hadley (Mike) and Dona Gardner (David); her nieces and nephews, Marina Hadley, Hayden Hadley (Erin), Carlton Gardner, and Gracie Gardner; and her great-nephew, George Hayden Hadley, Jr.
Tamie also cherished the family she gained through her marriage to Roger, including his mother, Charlotte Kunkel; his sisters, Dianne Keefe-Bonnell (Terry), Brenda Guzman (George), and Linda Carlotti Hagar (Roger); and his brother, David Doyle.
Those who knew Tamie will always remember her vibrant spirit and the joy she brought wherever she went. She loved music, dancing, and singing along in the kitchen. In her youth, she could often be found teasing her sisters, creating family memories, or proudly twirling her baton on Friday nights. Tamie had a rare gift for making ordinary moments feel extraordinary, spending her life lifting up those around her. Her love knew no bounds. She was the heart of every family gathering, a fiercely loyal friend, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and a sanctuary of comfort to countless lives. While her family deeply grieves her loss, they find solace in knowing she is reunited with her father and resting peacefully in the presence of the Lord.
The family will receive friends at Blue Ridge Funeral & Cremation Service, 12-1:00pm Thursday, June 18, 2026. A graveside service will follow in the Ramsey Cemetery at 2:00pm. Reverend Raymond Cantrell will officiate the graveside service.
