With heavy hearts, yet steadfast faith in Jesus Christ, we celebrate the beautiful life of Tammy Lynn Haynes, a loving wife, devoted mother, precious daughter, faithful sister and friend, and cherished child of God. On May 16, 2026, at the age of 47, she was called home to be with the Lord, leaving behind a testimony of love, grace, and unwavering faith that will continue to shine through all who were blessed to know her.
Born on August 7, 1979, in Daytona Beach, FL, Tammy lived a life rooted in compassion, kindness, and devotion to her family. Above all else, she cherished the calling God gave her as a wife and mother. She shared a deep and loving bond with her husband, Eric Haynes, and together they built a home. Eric stayed by Tammy's side throughout her illness and was with her as she left this world and went to Glory. Her beloved children, Chloe and Devin, were her greatest joy and the center of her heart.
Tammy had a gentle spirit and a heart that reflected Jesus in the way she cared for others. She offered encouragement to the weary, even while she was suffering with her own illness. She found profound joy is telling her testimony to others. Tammy comforted to the hurting and loved without condition. Her smile brought peace, her sense of humor and her faith carried her through life's trials with courage and trust in God's promises. She never stopped believing God was still in the miracle making business.
Though our hearts grieve her absence, we rejoice in knowing she is now resting in the arms of her Savior, healed and made whole in the presence of the Lord. As Scripture reminds us, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant." Her earthly journey may have ended, but her eternal life in Christ has just begun.
She is lovingly survived by her husband, Eric Haynes; her children, Chloe (25) and Devin (15); her siblings, Angela Heneise (spouse, CH (MAJ) Jason Heneise, officiating) Melissa Giddens and Joseph Giddens; and countless family members and dear friends whose lives are forever touched by her love and faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Ruth and Robert Giddens.
A celebration of Tammy's life and homegoing will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service, with visitation starting at 2:00 pm, and memorial service following at 3:00 pm, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory, worship together, and find comfort in the hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
In lieu of flowers, monetary donations can be made to the family for Devin Haynes.
"Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:" - John 11:25 (KJV)
