In Loving Memory of Tanner Chase Ramsey, 24, of Alexander, NC, who found peace in the arms of Jesus, Saturday, April 26, 2025, surrounded by those who love him the most. He was born on July 18, 2000, in Asheville, NC.

Tanner was the son of Brian "Bird" and Michelle Gentry Ramsey. Along with his parents, his memory will be cherished by his fiancée Allie Gordon, Baby Romy; siblings, Whitney Jones (Carson) and Averie Ramsey(Caleb); grandparents, Nana Pat and Chris Shook, Clyde and Elsie Ramsey; nephew and niece, Paxton and Lyla Jones; his Aldi family, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, teachers, coaches and extended family and friends that loved him endlessly.

Tanner was known for his infectious laugh, teddy bear hugs and a huge heart that always saw the best in everyone.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Pastors Jeremy Emory and Keith Watkins will officiate. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00pm Thursday with the service to follow.

In honor of Tanner's enduring love and legacy he leaves behind, a fund has been established for his little girl, Romy, who will forever be a living piece of his heart. In addition, may we all strive to carry on Tanner's legacy by checking on each other, laughing often, loving unconditionally and forgiving easily.
