Teresa Gail Franklin, 60, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Mission Hospital. She is the daughter of Sarah Banks Prater and the late Garry Lee Franklin. Teresa is also preceded in death by a daughter, Sarah "Channa" Franklin Register.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, Bryan Christopher Franklin; son in law, Brad Register; sisters, Lisa Franklin, Angela Beasley and Kimberly Edmonds; brother, Dewey Franklin; grandchildren, Nigel Lopez, Alex, Maricella "Sissy" and Leland Valdez and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service was held at Blue Ridge Funeral Service.

Teresa was a loving daughter, sister, devoted mother of her two children, caretaker and guardian angel of her four beautiful grandchildren of whom she loved with all her heart. She had a heart of gold and was always thinking of and helping anyone she could.
