Terry Clouse, age, 74, of Barnardsville, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2024. He was born on March 24, 1950, in Buncombe County to the late Henry and Rosalie Gibbs Clouse.

Terry was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church, serving as a Deacon. Terry shared his love of God through missions both local and abroad and working with Lighthouse Laborers for Christ, serving his community. He actively served in Lighthouse Bible Camp for the past 20 years.

Terry was also an active member of Barnardsville Fire Dept. as a volunteer and later serving on the Board of Directors. He was involved in building, both as a builder and selling building supplies at both Builders Express and The Hardware at Mars Hill. He developed strong ties with customers as well as love for the Willis family gained thru the stores.

Those of you who knew Terry, knew his love for the Lord, his church, family and community. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed a good joke among friends. He enjoyed going to antique car shows, and playing golf. Terry has left behind a legacy of character and love shown through deeds and simply spoken advice.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Marilyn Haynes Clouse; son, Zac; two granddaughters, Brionna and Lila "I know Poppy is singing with the Angels and God is listening"; a special sister, Pat Dillingham; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Monday June 24, 2024 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday June 25, 2024, in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service. Reverend Zac Szabo and Reverend Jerry Jamerson will officiate.
