Thomas "T.L." Lumb Ball, age 86, of Barnardsville, went to be with the Lord, at his home on Sunday, November 20, 2022.

T.L. was born October 11, 1936, to the late Hobert and Ruth Maynor Ball. He retired from the City of Asheville Parks and Recreation, he continued mowing and weed eating until a couple of years ago. T.L. loved to make his daily trips to D&D where he would eat lunch and socialize with friends and locals, he had a heart for people and loved helping all he could. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Genell Ledford and brothers: Willie, Frank, Jesse and Charles Ball.

He is survived by his nephews: Gene "PeeWee" Ball (Amanda), Brandon Ball (Heather) and Zachary Ball, whom were the children he claimed as his own. Also, several other nieces and nephews, his best friends Odie and Tyson, his fur babies.

His funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Wednesday, November 23, 2022, in Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel at Blue Ridge funeral Service. Reverend Roy Shepherd will officiate the service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

He will be laid to rest at the Webb Cemetery on Stoney Fork.
