Tom Phillips, 82 of Drake Cove Rd. passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017. He was a native of Madison County and son of the late Carmon and Estie Baldridge Phillips. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by three sisters and one brother. Mr. Phillips is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lorraine Rector Phillips; daughters, Audrey Wheeler (Gene), Patricia Phillips (John) and Williaree Ward (Greg); son, Farrell Phillips (Elaine); grandchildren, Terry, Tristan, Brooke, Kimber, Trevor and Tommy; and great grandchildren, Averi and Kason. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00PM Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. The funeral service will be held 2:00PM, Monday, October 23, at Blue Ridge Funeral Service with Reverends Dean Metcalf and Joe George officiating.
