"Little Tommy" Eugene Carson, 45 of Dillingham Road, departed this life Tuesday, June 16, 2015. He was a native of Buncombe County and son of Tommy and Linda Grace Thomas Carson. Tommy is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Solon and Opal Carson and maternal grandfather, Lydie Thomas. In addition to his parents he is survived by his daughter, Faith Tesner; brother, David Thomas Carson; sister, Sharon Jarvis (Mike); granddaughter, Gracelyn Tesner; maternal grandmother, Bertha McClain Thomas and niece Michaela Jarvis. Tommy is also survived by close cousins and friends. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Dean Metcalf will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
