Tommy Lynn Pike 60, of 533 Old Eller Ford Rd., passed away Monday, December 23, 2013 at John F. Keever Solace Center and is now at rest with the Lord. He was the son of the late James Lloyd Pike Jr. and Betty "Bett" Benfield Pike. He was also preceded in death by his brother Bobby Pike. Tommy loved the outdoors and nature. Tommy was very compassionate, thoughtful and caring, who loved all those he came in contact with, touching many people with his artwork.

Surviving is his wife of 30 years, Susan Roberts Pike of the home, sons, Heath and Ross Pike, sister Katie Pike, brothers; Danny Pike (Brenda), Ricky Pike (Christy), sister-in-law Pam Tweed, brother-in-law Tim Roberts (Marcia), mother-in-law, Juanita Roberts, uncle, Jerry "Dude" Benfield, aunt Joyce "Monk" Crawford, several special nieces , nephews, great nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, December 26, 2013 in Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Rev. Phillip Parker will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm prior to the service.
