Troy Eugene Martin, 74, of 294 Ball Drive died Monday, December 12, 2011. Mr. Martin was a native of Madison County and son of the late Troy and Addie Crowe Martin. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister Faye Burnette and two brothers Dave and Robert Martin. He was a member of Redmon Baptist Church, U. S Army Veteran and retired truck driver for Direct Link and T. H Tire Co.

He is survived by his wife Wilma Ball Martin; sons Tony Martin of Mars Hill and Bobby (Beth) Martin of Asheville; brothers Jack and Don Martin; grandchildren Tyler Garrett Martin , Austin and Zachary Martin.

Funeral Service will be held 3:00 pm, Thursday, December 15 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel, Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Revs. Ken Griffin and Gary Fender will officiate. A private burial will be held in the Dry Pond Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1-3 pm prior to the service.
