Velma Lee Gentry Beck, 90, of Alexander, passed away at her home Tuesday, January 28, 2020. She is the daughter of the late Roy and Susie Bishop Gentry and a native of Madison County. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brother, Roy Carmel Gentry.

She is survived by her daughter, Joy Melone (Joseph) and her nephews.

A funeral service will be held 3:00PM Friday, January 31, 2020 at Mountain View Freewill Baptist Church. Reverend Anthony Fox will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
