Wanda Silver Ball, 84 of Banjo Branch Rd. went home to be with her Lord, Tuesday December 29, 2015 at Mission Hospitals – St. Joseph Campus. She was the daughter of the late Murphy and Sallie Dyer Silver. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Bruce Ball; sisters, Barbara Jane Haynes, Peggy Jaramillo, Mary Jo Silver and brothers Billy, J.R. and Johnny Silver. Mrs. Ball was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who loved gardening, spending time with family and friends as well as researching her family history. She was known for her sweet smile.

She is survived by her son Mark Ball (Sharon); sisters, Jackie Freeman (Arvil) and Margaret Holland; brothers, Tom and Don Silver (Barbara) and a very special grandson James Ball, who was the love of her life and a number of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 1, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. The burial will follow in the Mars Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

The family would like to thank the staff of Madison Health and Rehab and all who cared for her during her stay at the hospital.
