Warren Grant McDaris, Jr., 89 of Marshall, NC passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023. He was the son of the late Warren Grant McDaris, Sr. and Muriel Glen Buckner McDaris. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Alene Silver McDaris who died in 2019.

Warren is survived by his daughter, Carmen Jones (Billy); sons, Ricky McDaris (Cindy), and Craig McDaris (Karen); Brothers, Hal McDaris (Virginia), and Herschel McDaris (Ginny); grandchildren, Heather Crutchfield (Robby), Michael Jones (Jessica), Johnathan Jones, Brandon Jones, Zachary McDaris (Rachel), and Maria McDaris; and six great grandchildren.

Warren was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a Shriner and Mason for nearly 70 years. Warren was a member of Bull Creek Missionary Baptist Church for over 50 years.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday January 14, 2023 at Bull Creek Missionary Baptist Church with Reverends Jerry Shelton and Bill Jones, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow the service in Bull Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Masonic Rites. The McDaris family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm Friday, January 13, 2023, at Blue Ridge Funeral Service.
