Weldon Peek, 82 of Mountain Haven Dr. passed away Monday, January 1, 2018, at Charles George VA Medical Center. He was the son of the late Welman Marion and Kitty Grooms Peek. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Leonard, Eldridge and Morris Peek. Mr. Peek was a US Army Veteran and retired from Department of Interior of Blue Ridge Parkway and Young Blood Truck Lines.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Wilde Peek; son, Matthew Peek (Nicole); grandchildren Carlie and William Peek.

A funeral service will be held 2:00PM Friday, January 5, 2018 in Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of

Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverends Glenn Graves and Vernon Troutman will officiate. Burial will follow in the Peek Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
