Wiley "Bill" Rice, 65, of Ralph Rice Road passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at his residence. He is the son of the late Ralph and Marie Massey Rice. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Rice; son, Justin Rice; and brothers, David and Rex Rice. Bill was a truck driver for UPS.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Halsey Rice; children, Chris Rice (Shannon), Misty Rice (Mike), Julie Rice (James), Michael Rice (Ashton), Adam Rice (Amanda); sister, Elizabeth Hensley (Ray); brother, Rufus Rice (Karen); sister in-laws, Mary Rice and Becky Rice; 16 grandchildren and 9 great grandkids.

A funeral service will be held 2:00PM Friday, May 28, 2021 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverends Roger Massey and John Worley will officiate. Burial will follow in the Rice Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home.
