Yuell "Red" Raby, 82, of Asheville, NC passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at Care Partners Solace Center in Asheville. He was the son of the late Oscar Raby and Inez Raby Marlow. Red was also preceded in death by his son: Jay Raby, sister: Peggy Rice, and three brothers: Joel, Hubert, and Bobby Raby.

Left to cherish Red's memory are his loving wife: Roberta Reid Raby, four sons: Michael Ball (Tammy), Ronnie Ball (Donna), Ricky Ball (Gloria), and Cameron Raby (Terrie), 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service on Thursday, May 16, 2024, with the Reverends Jeremy and Kevin Raby officiating. Burial will follow the service in Skyview Memorial Park. The Raby family will receive friends from 12:30pm util 2:00pm prior to the funeral on Thursday.
