Almost exactly 5 years ago my husbands Mother was in the hospital on a vent with not a great chance of survival, they were asking my Husband to start thinking about cutting off the vent and let her go. My husband was having a very difficult time with this because unlike the two of us he didn't know if his Mother had ever been saved, so he was terrified that he wouldn't see her again in Heaven. Our preacher was out of town with work and I was unable to get him to the hospital and we needed Godly help quick!!!!! I prayed and cried and then I knew, my Uncle Larry was closer to God than anyone I knew. He followed every word of the Bible and never stumbled!! I knew what we needed and it was him!! I called him and he was working, but he took the time to talk to me and listen. After I sobbed out our situation he said give me just a bit and I'll be on my way. And just like he promised he arrived at the hospital Bible in hand and by Gods mercy my husband mother had just been taken off the ventilator and was awake and able to talk!!!!! Larry talked to her about Gods love and prayed with and for her. This eased our fears so much, my husbands mother passed away a few days later, even though the hurt of the loss was there our fears were all gone thanks to Larry and the heart that God gave him to love everyone and lead my example!!!
