Obituary for Carroll Luther Bryson
Carroll (Bay) Luther Bryson, age 88, of 74 Lula Cove, Weaverville, entered his Eternal Home Friday, November 11, 2016 at his home. All is well. Carroll was proud of being a descendent of Revolutionary War soldiers on both his paternal and maternal families. He had a lifelong love of the mountains that bred and nurtured him.
Carroll was a well-known building contractor for over 50 years, and took pride in his reputation for honesty and quality work.
He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Carolyn Lance Bryson, three children and their spouses, 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and many friends dear to his heart. They have many good memories of time spent in the Nantahala and Keowee communities.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Firstborn Baptist Church. The family will receive friends after the service.
GranBay has left a wonderful legacy for his family to cherish. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Firstborn Church.
