Obituary for Robert Caldwell
Robert Caldwell, 76, of Indian Grave Gap Road, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Mission Hospital- St. Josephs Campus. He was a native of Madison County and son of the late Swann and Ruby Randall Caldwell. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Hattie Jarret Caldwell; four sisters, one brother and grandson, Jeremiah Ty Rice.
Mr. Caldwell is survived by daughter, Brooklyn Calloway (James); son, Cody Caldwell; brothers, Cecil and Vestal Caldwell; grandchildren, Alyssa and Sabrina Calloway, Kellie, Chevy and Cassidy Rice; several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by caretaker, Rosetta Worley and special friends; WP and Brenda Fisher, Charles and Barbara Sawyers and Alvin Caldwell.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Gary Fender will officiate. Burial will be held in the Worley Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12 – 2 prior to the service.
