Obituary for Emline Jackson (Tipton)
Emline Jackson, 84 of Lewis Higgins Drive, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017 at John F. Keever Solace Center. She was the daughter of the late Bannister and Opal Crowder Tipton. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Denise Stackpole.
Ms. Jackson is survived by her daughters, Katherine Wolfe (Luther), Ruth Ann Klein (John); son, Carmie Hensley; sisters, Mildred Pate, Audrey Arwood, Vergie Teague, Nell Swann, Mary Hensley; brothers, Floyd Tipton, Lloyd Tipton, Estel Tipton; 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 3 great great -grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 10:00am -11:00am Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. A graveside service will follow in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. Rev. Larry Sprouse will officiate.
