Obituary for Patricia Coffey (Brackens)
Patricia Brackens Coffey, 69, of 1566 Thunder Lane, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017. She is the daughter of the late Ralph and Geneva Ammons Brackens and a lifelong resident of Madison County.
Mrs. Coffey is survived by her husband, Leonard Coffey; sons, Dewayne Coffey (Wanda) and Rodney Coffey (Cindy); grandchildren, Crystal Chatman (James), Myron Coffey (Brittany) and Justin Coffey (Melissa); great grandchildren, Olivia Chatman, Brooklyn, Addison, Tye and Bentley Coffey.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, January 26, 2017, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Preacher Dewayne Coffey will officiate. Burial will follow in the Gabriel’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday, at the funeral home.
