Arnold Wesley Garrison
Arnold Garrison, 89, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at his home in Mars Hill. He was the son of the late Thomas and Alma Medler Garrison. Arnold was a US Army Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Naomi Smathers Garrison; daughter, Debbie Henderson (Mike); sons, Curtis Garrison (Kim) and Philip Garrison (Jennifer); grandchildren, Wesley, Rachael, Chris, J.T., Chandler and Matthew; great grandchildren, Ayla, Emma, Micaiah, Silas, and Ezra; seven brothers and sisters; nieces, nephews and many friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00PM - 7:00PM Saturday, April 15, 2017 in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM, Sunday, April 16 at Vision Missionary Baptist Church with Reverends Wesley Pike, Michael Garrison, and Steven Glover officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery with Vance Masonic Lodge #293 AF&AM.
