Obituary for William Howard Sloan Sr.
William Howard Sloan, Sr., 68, passed away Friday, April 28, 2017. He was the son of the late Hazel Sloan. He is preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Rucker Sloan and son, Delman Shuby Davis. Mr. Sloan was a US Army Veteran.
He is survived by his sons; William Sloan, Jr. (Laura), Thomas Sloan (Rhonda), William Thomas (LaShea), Jimmie Thomas (Tamisha) and Damone Davis; special niece, Nicole Daughtery; special nephews, David Daughtery and Brian Keith Sloan; 20 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon, Friday, May 5th, 2017 at Worldwide Missionary Baptist Church, 85 Choctaw St., Asheville, NC. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon with Reverend Johnny Jones and Dr. James Grant officiating.
