Ruby Fore, 85, of Marshall unexpectantly went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 8, 2017. She was born March 4, 1932 to the late Ben and Sophronia Treadway Fisher. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Billy Fore. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Wade Cody, Troy Cody, Joe Fisher, Everett Fisher, R.B. Fisher and sisters, Jerlene Riddle, and Eliza Sherlin.
She was a lifelong resident of Madison County. She was a member of the First Marshall Freewill Baptist Church.
She was a housewife and wonderful mother to the four “Fore” girls, Kathy Shelton (Edward), Madeline Hensley (Dexter), Debra Norton (Jerry) and Becky Shipman (Randy). She is survived by sister, Robina Smith, brothers, Ralph Fisher and Clarence Fisher; six grandchildren, Lisa Shelton, Tina Shelton Ball (Pressley), Prudence Shelton (Clyde), Shane Norton (Melissa), Candice Davis (Scott) and Jake Crowder (Wendy); seven great grandchildren, who ALL were her pride and joy, Brian Greene (Chris), Jessie Ziegler (Luke), Dallas Shelton, Brayden Davis, Darian Norton, Logan Norton, and Brittany Davis; three great great grandchildren who were also her pride and joy, Brooklyn Shelton, Kalli Crowder and Mason Crowder.
Mama will be missed so much but she is with the love her life, Billy, in heaven.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, Saturday, May 13, 2017 in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. A funeral will be held at 2:00 pm with Reverends Woody Dillingham and Larry Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at the Fore Family Cemetery.
