Ralph Ambrose Capps,77, passed away Monday, January 8, 2018. He was the son of the late Henry Earl and Pearl Randall Capps. He is also preceded in death by a daughter Regina Capps and granddaughter Brandie Faye Dobbins.
He was the fiancé of Mary Lee Hatton, father of Kimberly Ponder (Rodney), Ronda Burris (Kevin) all of Weaverville and Jeremy Capps (Lavonne) of Marshall; brother of Relda Capps and Nina Gillespie (Junior) and grandfather of Brison Ponder and step grandfather of Harley Ramsey, Luke and Issac Surrett.
A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service with the Rev. Clinton Gillespie officiating. The family will receive friends 12:00pm - 2:00pm prior to the service. Burial will follow at Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
