Lee Ann Rhodes Wilson, 75 of Flat Creek, North Carolina stepped into her eternal “tomorrow” on April 30, 2018.The role that she lived her entire life to fill; was that of “Mommy”, but that is not the only role that she filled. She was born on March 4th, 1943 in Asheville, NC where she lived her entire life, and where she was first introduced to her big brother, William. She would be known as “Bill’s little sister” for years and she loved him dearly until his death in 1979. The other role that she filled early in life was that of “Jay and Ella’s daughter,” and they too entered eternity ahead of their little girl, with Jay passing in 2001, and Ella following him in 2014. She was “Richard’s wife” for 56 years, and she was the “Mommy” of four children. “The Twins,” Melinda and Darinda Noah (Albert & Ike). Her little boy, Daniel Wilson (Connie) and her tiny baby girl, Marella Ogden (Chris). She was “Grandmommy” or “Grammy” to seven grandchildren; Aaron & Andrew Dillingham, Meagan Bartlett (Matt), Kaitlyn & Danielle Wilson, and Logan & Aubrey Noah.
A Visitation will be held at Blue Ridge Funeral Service on Thursday, May 3rd at 11:00 am, with the funeral service to follow at 1:00pm. Rev. Larry Edwards & Rev. Jim Moore will officiate. Interment will follow in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.
Flowers are acceptable, and appreciated.
