Myrtle  Potter (Ledford)
Myrtle Ledford Potter, 82, of Brevard, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018, at Elizabeth House Four Seasons Hospice. She was a native of Madison County and the daughter of the late Oscar “Doc” Levi and Effie Metcalf Ledford. Mrs. Potter was a member of Beech Glen Baptist Church. She was a star basketball player in high school and lettered several times during her playing days. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Potter, Sr.; three sisters; and four brothers.

Mrs. Potter is survived by her daughter, Vicki Boling (Terry); sons, Harry Potter Jr., and Jamie Waldrop (Lisa); grandchildren, Joshua Potter and Audrey Boiling; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11am Friday, May 25, 2018, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Rev. Stanley Peek will officiate. Burial will follow in the Brigmon-McPeters cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
