Dianne Good Maney, of Hamburg Road, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Norman Lee and Estelle Ponder Good. She was a teacher’s assistant at Beech Glenn Elementary School for about 3 years and she owned and operated Dianne's Tropical Tan and Video for 17 years where she made many friends that became like family. People would come just to have a cup of coffee even if they were not there to do business. She enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling to Las Vegas. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Charles and Ronnie Good and David Ingram and a special aunt Gladys P. Ammons.
Dianne is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jerry Maney; daughters, Jannifer Peterson (Buzz), Melissa Brantley; son, Christopher Maney (Susan); sister, Jeannette Riddle, brother, Ricky Ingram (Teresa); grandchildren, Nicole, Tyler, Heath, Olivia, Rob, Savannah, Madelyn and Presley.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, 1:00 PM June 29, 2016 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Rev. Stanley Peek will be officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
