: Bruce Boone 61, of Mars Hill, died Tuesday, December 11, 2012. He was a native and lifelong resident of Madison County. He was a son Mary Lee Cassida Boone Price and the late Orba Dale Boone. He was formerly employed with Mutual of Omaha.

Surviving are his daughters; Marquel Rice Wells, Laura Boone, Stephanie Boone and Health Boone, sons; Chad Boone (Stephanie) and Jamey Banks (Crystal), sister, Barbara Condron, brothers; Larry Boone (Lisa) and Darhyl Boone (Jean), several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 14, 2:00 pm at Upper Laurel Baptist Church in Mars Hill, NC. Burial will be in the Upper Laurel Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
