BARNARDSVILLE: David Emory Hale, 63, of 4 Harwood Rd., passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011 at John F. Keever Solace Center. He was the son of the late Clarence and Annie Coates Hale. He was a US Army Veteran.

Surviving are his sons; Gordon Hale (Mary Katherine) and Matthew Hale (Elizabeth), sisters; Christine Ogle and Grace McPeters, grandchildren; Hannah and Abigail Hale, Clara and Jake Hale

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Paint Fork Baptist Church. Rev. Larry Coates will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 PM prior to the service.
