Obituary for Eloise Elizabeth Buckner (Metcalf)
Eloise Elizabeth Metcalf Buckner, 77, of 533 Old Hwy 20 died Sunday May 5, 2013, She is the daughter of the late Herbert and Margaret Metcalf Metcalf. She is also proceeded in death by a son Edward Buckner and brothers Clarence, Carroll, Clyde and Earl Metcalf.
She is survived by her daughter Susan Buckner Hamlin (Michael), sister; Marie Anders (Warren) two grandchildren; Melissa Hermann and Eric Shepard; ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. The Rev. Clyde Metcalf Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow in the Anderson Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Blue Ridge Funeral Service, PO Box 27, Mars Hill, NC 28754 to assist the family with final expenses
