Jerry Paul Moxley, 64, of 190 Barnardsville Rd., passed away Saturday, October 15, 2011. He was the son of Paris Brigmon Moxley of Mars Hill and the late Paul Moxley. Jerry was a US Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam and Korean War and was a member of Paint Fork Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his mother is his loving companion, Rosa Lee Clinton a son, Tim Clinton, daughters; Vivian Clinton and Vickie Shipman and husband Ray, sisters; Dianne Robert and Linda Gardner and husband Gary, grandchildren; Trevor, Amber, Brandon and Kayla, several great grandchildren, nephew, Anthony Condra and Scott Gardner, niece, Melissa Bartlett and several great nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, October 19, 2011 in Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Rev. Ronnie Robinson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 PM prior to the service. At other times the family will be at his home or his mother’s home, 50 Mountain Home Estates, Mars Hill.
