JOHN JOSEPH WARD
ALEXANDER-John J. Ward, 47, of 38 White Thorn Drive, died Wednesday, September 14, 2011.
John was a native of Wake County and a helicopter specialist with the US Navy. He was The most loving man who had a passion for his wife, beautiful daughters, family and friends. A true lover of his blissful life in Weaverville and all he met.
He was the son of Robert and Dorothy Eubanks Ward. In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his wife Cindy Lynch Ward; and two daughters, Kady and Samantha Ward; sisters, Mary Logsdon and husband John of St. Charles, IL, and Dana Ward and husband Paul Benson of Alexander; a brother, Robert F. Ward and wife Karen Riley-Ward of Concord, CA; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Alice Lynch of Islip, NY; sister-in-law, Lisa Lynch of Babylon, NY; brothers-in-law, Mark Lynch and wife Mary Grace of Stony Brook, NY, and Patrick Lynch and wife Natalie of Southwick, MA; an aunt, Janette Hiltbrunner and husband Ernie of Weaverville; nieces, Brianne, Kellie, Deirdre, Antoinette, Alexandria, Juliette and Courtney Lynch; and nephews, Neal and Jonathan Ward and Brendan, Dillon and Brien Lynch.
The family will receive friends from 4-6pm Sunday, September 18th at Blue Ridge Funeral Service, Mars Hill.
A Celebration of John's Life will be held at 6pm Monday, September 19th at Jack of Hearts Restaurant in Weaverville.
In memory of John, donations may be made to the College Foundation of NC, for Kady and Samantha’s college fund. Donations may be mailed to NC529, PO Box 40877, Raleigh, NC 27629-0877, Kady’s acct #540318592-001 and Samantha’s acct # is 540318592-002.
