Obituary

Kenneth Aaron Burrell, age 76 of Bean Station TN, passed away Friday, August 14, 2020. He is the son of the late Luther and Alpha Mae Norton Burrell. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Courtney Burrell and brother, Willard Burrell. Kenneth was Owner/Operator of Palmer Ford Transmission Shop and was a driver for the Madison County Transportation Service. He was a former member of Middle Fork Independent Baptist Church and a current member of New Life Baptist Church in Bean Station, TN. Mr. and Mrs. Burrell sang in a gospel group called Travelers for Jesus for 18 years, along with Vaughn Robinson.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Joanne Johnson Burrell; daughter, Katrina Burrell; son, Christopher Burrell (Becky); sisters, Gladys Arrington and Carolyn Penland both of Burnsville; grandchildren, Natasha, Chelsey, Serenity, Greyson, Kody and Matt; great grandchildren, Jesse, Tori, Dakota, Bentley and Braxton and several nieces and nephews.


A memorial service for Mr. Burrell will be held at a later date.
