A friend from 1949-50

I attended school in Marshall, 7th grade in 1949-50.  Lorraine was a classmate.  I remember her as friendly, studious, "cute" and a close friend for the few months I attended school in Marshall.  I attended a class reunion several years ago while living in VA but Lorraine did not attend.  I learned that she resided in Charotte and several days after the reunion I called her and we spoke briefly.  I now reside in Charlotte.  I have a school year book that she signed and will mail a copy of her entry in it to the Funeral Home for forwarding.  She was a lovely person.  I know her family and many friends will miss her.
While in Marsall, I was known as Porkey.
