Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Thomas Fairchild can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Cousin Tom was my second cousin on my mothers side of the Riddle family. I remember Tom from the times we visited his mother, my Aunt Mandy. Tom was blind but worked in the tobacco fields with his older brother Jack. My family always loved to visit Tom's family, us kids loved to see what aunt Mandy had on the dinner table, she always told us to get us something to eat. We loved her sweet bread. Mom and I visited Tom several years ago and that was the last time I got to visit with him. Tom is in a better place today, he is walking those streets of gold. RIP cousin Tom.
