Thomas was my Father's first cousin. My Dad John Milton Fairchild was born in 1912. When I was about eight years old Daddy took us to visit his cousins in Madison Co NC. That was 1952, and they had a tobacco farm both were unmarried at that time. We stayed the whole day I have never forgotten how very kind and generous these two brothers were to us, making us welcome as if we were always a part of their family.
